Regina Shpolyansky brings a highly structured corporate executive background together with a deep family legacy of artistic craft.
The artistry pedigree
Regina's eye for aesthetic standards began at home. Her mother shaped a generation of beauty practitioners as a California State Board teacher and master instructor at Miss Marty's and Zenzi beauty academies. Following that same path of clinical precision, Regina qualified as an esthetician and a professional makeup artist.
Arriving in the United States in 1989, she sharpened her sense of heritage luxury at the iconic I. Magnin Union Square in San Francisco. Across two decades and thousands of faces, she arrived at the conviction that still governs everything here: authentic luxury thrives on precision and strategic restraint.
The corporate advantage
In parallel, Regina spent more than 20 years in corporate information technology as a systems strategist and technology leader, working on enterprise execution, scaling frameworks, governance, and complex operational timelines.
That analytical rigour is why this store works the way it does. Structured, reliable, and transparent about its own operations — because the person who built it spent two decades doing exactly that.
Our story, and the artisan gap
La Purelle was founded in Encino, California, as a deliberate extension of Regina's own relationship with refined living, ritual, and clean aesthetics.
While travelling to map artisan landscapes, she kept meeting the same problem. World-class independent makers held profound, generational craftsmanship — and had almost no visibility in mainstream luxury markets. The craft was never the constraint. Distribution was.
La Purelle Artisan exists to close that gap: an international bridge between discerning buyers and purpose-driven workshops in East Africa, Madagascar, Bali, and California.
